Hinged-jaw casing tongs casing tongs are designated for casing pipes
Casing tongs are designated for screwing and unscrewing joint connections of casing pipes which are applied at prospecting boring.
The tongs may be pipe and sucker-rod (as intended) and besides, manual and mechanical. In its turn, manual tongs are divided into hinged-jaw tongs and chain pipe wrenches. Hinged-jaw tongs are more comfortable for operation, their weight is not big and they cause less damage to pipe surface.
