TBSO (ТБСО) light-weight steel boring pipes with welded-in locks
Light-weight steel boring pipes with welded-in locks are designated for boring prospect and shallow (up to 300 m) geology- prospecting wells. They are an analogue of TBSU (ТБСУ) pipes with welded-in locks and they differ therefrom by possessing less weight for the account of applying special thread (Сп.К) and reduced wall thickness. Boring depth: up to 300 m.
Possessing less weight which is comparable to that of light-alloy pipes TBL (ТБЛ) and due to surface hardening they combine advantages of TBSU (ТБСУ) and TBL (ТБЛ) pipes and in contrast with the latters they may be successfully applied within harsh geological and engineering environment, specifically when boring in high abrasivity rocks.
The pipes are manufactured of steel 45, welded-in locks are manufactured of steel 40ХН (by agreement with the customer - of steel 40X).
