Plate feeder are a construction consisting of a welded frame on which shafts, rollers, plate belt, maintenance platforms and a hopper are mounted.
The principle of the plate feeder operation.
The feed material is loaded into the feeder hopper. As a result of rotation of the drive shaft sprockets, the plate belt receives translational movement, moving the material located on it. The sprockets of the drive shaft are meshed with chains made as one unit with the plates belts. The rotation on the sprockets is transmitted from the electric motor through the belt drive, gearbox, drive shaft of the feeder and gear pair.
