GPV -10-74B roller screen-feeder

Roller screen-feeder GPV-10-74B are designed to receive feed gravel and sand or sand and gravel rock and uniform supply of loose and lumpy materials from the hopper into the working machines and are the most effective type of equipment for removing of viscous contaminated rock fractions from the main processed material. Roller screen-feeder are used primarily where the feed material is large sized and contains a large number of clay inclusions that clog the deck of a standard screen, so that further use of standard screening equipment does not make sense.

Roller screen-feeder GPV-10-74B are a construction consisting of a one- or two-section welded frame on which rollers (eccentric shafts), a drive and a hopper are mounted. In agreement with the customer, the roller screen-feeders can be equipped with a bottom discharge hopper and an unloading conveyor for removing of the «sub-grid» material.

Each roller includes elliptical plates made of wear-resistant steel («Hardox»), which allow to sort the materials with a higher percentage of sticky impurities and moisture content. The distance between the plates is one of the parameters that regulates the grade of the «sub-grid» separation product. In the standard version, the drives of the roller screen feeder are gearmotors. Due to the programmed control of the rollers movement the greatest effect is achieved when separating difficultly sorted materials due to the possibility of smooth speed adjustment, stop and reverse at each cascade (tier) separately.

Principle of the roller screen feeder

The feed material is loaded into the feeder hopper and due to the rollers rotation it moves in the specified direction. The feed material the size of which is smaller than the distance between the plates on the rollers is removed from the flow and enters the lower discharge hopper and then onto the discharge conveyor.
