PMK-2600х1 sand washers

Sand washers PMK-2600х1 are designed for washing sand from a fine dust fraction, silty and clay inclusions, as well as its dehydration to increase its consumer properties.

The sand washer PMK-2600х1 is a semi-cylindrical housing (settling tank), in which there is a bucket wheel equipped with buckets with screen perforated plates and a spiral.

Principle of operation of sand washing machine.

The process of classification in spiral sand washers is carried out in a moving water flow. The pulp (slurry of mineral parts) flows by gravity into the settling tank, in which the sand is washed. The slowly rotating spiral produces the necessary mixing of the pulp, moving the slurry with sand in the direction of the bucket wheel. Sand as a heavier fraction settles on the bottom of the bucket and is carried out by a bucket wheel from the water mass onto the conveyor. Water from the buckets is drained through the screens at the bottom of the bucket back into the settling tank. Dirty water with silty and clay particles is removed from the sand-washing machine together with water.
