SMD-507 A (СМД-507 A) roll crusher

Roll crusher is designated to crush materials of mineral, organic and industrial origin with the compression resistance of up to 250 MPa. Distinctive peculiarity of roll crushers is their capacity to process materials which tend to coat, as well a feature to get fine mist material.

The principle working member of roll crushers is cylinder rolls which rotate on horizontal axis; they rotate towards each other and break the material getting between them. The gap between rolls is adjusted with the use of the adjusting bolt and the nut thereon. In cases where non-crushing material gets in between rolls the displaceable roll moves backwards undoing resistance of the spring, thereby preventing fault of the crusher. 

Roll sleeves are casted of manganese steel and possess considerable wear-resistance. Roll surfaces may be fabricated both smooth-faced and corrugated.

Roll crushers are used for medium and mainly for fine crushing.
