Corporate Rafting in Mana River 2017. Photo-Report
Sticking to the tradition, on August 10 JSC Mining Machines went to the 9th annual corporate rafting in Mana River.
The rafting in the River Mana on rafts and boats is the favorite entertainment of the dwellers of Krasnoyarsk. The river begins in the mountain lake Manskoe in the Eastern Sayans and in 475 km falls into the mighty Yenisei.
Our touristic route, of course, did not cover the whole length of the river: the rafting began from the settlement Zherzhul and ended near the settlement Beret. The trip took four days and three nights and covered the distance of 90 km by water.
We spent the better part of the day on water. But the area of the largest in Krasnoyarsk paddled double-deck raft did not limit en route the dances and collaborative plays, fishing and day nap, bathing and intimate talks. The raft with the merry tourists was moving in the river passing the rocks covered with fog and intact nature of the National Nature Reserve "Stolby".
A tent camp was waiting for the company each evening in another picturesque meadow prepared for the passing of the night. The forest will for a long time remember both the parties with the color music and breath-taking sound and the cozy evenings by the fire with the hiking songs.
We, in our turn, will until the next rafting remember the hot dry bathhouse with a stove but without a chimney smelling fir and situated at the Mane river! After such heating, it is a huge pleasure to dive into the mountain cool river!
At the second stop, thanks to the team of instructors, we managed to go along the foot path to Urmnansky Walls overhanging the Mana. Early in the morning the fog covered everything: from the river up to the sky. The contours of the huge mountains were showing through the surrounding veil majestically and severely. The river was not visible and, from the steep it seemed that the bottomless abyss is underfoot. When the azure-blue sky began to show up over the heavy fog, it became possible to admire the view over the mountains, rocks, forest, and winding Mana from the height. The camp and our reliable raft were visible on the opposite bank.
The rafting in the river Mana is the most anticipated by the employees of JSC Mining Machines event. Four days far from the city without the telephone service with unpredictable weather conditions bring the team closer in the shared joy, in finding the solutions in the extreme situations, in the contemplation in the team of the beautiful and constantly changing landscape. Returning to the work, we sneak a peep at the photo-report and recollect the warm moments of our small trip. And now we are looking forward to the next, the 10th for our company, rafting in the Mana.
