Demonstration of Modernized Rig SBSH-250MNA-32

The demonstration of the improved low-voltage drilling rig SBSH-250MNA-32 took place in Voronezh, in the territory of the assembly shop of LLC MC Rudgormash, on July 13, 2018. The event was arranged by the plant in cooperation with JSC Mining Machines.

The technical experts of the miners and processors of Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk and Kursk Regions, the Republic of Belarus, and the guests from Vietnam specially invited by Mining Machines saw value in the advantages of suggested innovations. At the event the visitors personally communicated with the developers from Rudgormash and the colleagues from among the miners and processors who use the rigs of SBSH type in their work.

The following technical solutions were presented:

• The tower frame and feeder structure is changed for a more convenient assembly/dismantling without the use of any additional hoisting devices;
• The system of the programmable logical controller (PLC) with the opportunity to connect a laptop (for the rig continuous operation) is improved;
• The cabin vibration/sound/heat insulation is improved and a principally new stabilization system with the vibration absorption is applied.

SBSH-250 was for the first time manufactured at a plant in 1964 and 54 years later the construction bureau Rudgormash does not stop to modernize these drilling rigs popular in the mining industry. Together with the plant we want to satisfy the needs of the most demanding clients and to supply the rigs demonstrating the high efficiency even in the case of exploitation in the inclement weather.
