MINEX Russia 2018 and REW 2018
Last week was eventful. A representative of Mining Machines JSC visited two annual events in Moscow – MINEX Russia 2018, the 14th Mining and Exploration Forum, and the Russian Energy Week International Forum 2018.
MINEX Russia 2018 took place 2 to 4 October. The event program included master classes to improve professional level, as well as industry technology and project exhibition and reports. The forum’s slogan was, “Building up Innovative Excellence in Mining and Exploration.” Exhibitors were selected out of the leading companies in mining and exploration area. National and foreign speakers presented their reports at the forum. Key milestones to develop in mining and exploration area were marked.
From 3 to 6 October, the Russian Energy Week 2018 took place. This year, the key theme of the forum was Sustainable Energy for a Changing World. REW 2018 business program consisted of two main blocks:
- Global Energy Agenda block was devoted to discussing main factors influencing energy development from a short-term and long-term perspective;
- Development Plans for the Russian Fuel and Energy Industry block warmed up disputes over achievements and problems in oil, oil chemistry, gas, coal and power energy areas of national fuel and energy industry.
To sum up, we can definitely state visiting the events has become very worthwhile and educational for our company, it has cleared up what direction mining and exploration industry is moving to, and what prospects for further development of these areas are.
This year, our company took part in MINEX Russia 2018 and REW 2018 as an attendee but next year we are going to present our reports there.
