Springs usually carry high loads and are subject to severe fatigue failure. Therefore, high-quality materials are used to manufacture springs for screens and crushers that guarantee high cyclic resistance. Such materials are subject to additional quality control for any inhomogeneities or micro-cracks. The springs are made of 60S2A grade steel.
