«The Mining Show-2017». Photo report
Publication dated 04.10.2017 «International Middle East mining exhibition and conference «The Mining Show-2017» tells about visiting of the high class and global level event in United Arabic Emirates by «Mining machines» JSC. After the receiving of «play by play» photos we decided to inform you on new details of this valuable experience.
So, we will remind you that «The Mining Show-2017» gathered participants and visitors from October 2nd till October 3rd, 2017 in the International exhibition center of Dubai (Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre). Outside the most popular complex of the whole Middle East the blazing air temperature was reaching the level of +37°С, and inside the cool exhibition halls there was business atmosphere, inviting 2000 participants from 66 countries for efficient interaction and arrangement of strong communication bonds for future partnership relations.
The exhibition took place with the serious support from the governmental and industrial companies, such as: the Ministry of Energy of the UAE, The Institute of Quarrying (Great Britain), Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (UAE), Stevin Rock LLC (UAE), Outotec (Finland), Quarry Mining (Australia), Orica (Australia), Haver & Boecker (Germany) and a lot of other globally well-known companies (the full list of partners and sponsors of the exhibition can be found at the official web-site of the host http://www.terrapinn.com/exhibition/mining-show/). In total there were 200 companies from miming industry sphere and adjacent branches registered.
Hosts of the event aimed for providing of convenient platform for mining companies and their partners for the development of route for reliable industrial cooperation with the view of industrial and technological experience sharing and increasing of the steady pace in the development of mining industry, primarily in Middle East, Africa and Central and South Asia countries.
Within the frameworks of the exhibition there were several conferences held. There were global authorities reporting among the speakers! Here are their famous names: Suhail Mohammed Faraj Al Mazrouei — the Minister of Energy of UAE, Oshaik Mohamed Tahir — Deputy Minister of Natural resources of the Sudan, Nasr Eldin Elhussain — Chief executive Officer of Ariab Mining Company (Sudan), Tom Brady — Chief Economist of Newmont Mining Corporation (USA), Salim Al Busaidi — Chief Operations Officer of Maadin Enterprises LLC (Oman), Philip Angel — Managing Director of Vision Project Services (Great Britain) as well as about 60 persons with the significant authority in the field of mining industry (the list of speakers is presented at the official web-site http://www.terrapinn.com/exhibition/mining-show/past-speakers.stm).
«Mining machines» JSC was the only Russian supplier of equipment presenting the display at the exhibition «The Mining Show-2017». The purpose of our company participation in the event was the promotion of equipment from reputable Russian manufacturers at the global market.
During the exhibition we carried out negotiations with managers of enterprises from United Arabic Emirates, Pakistan, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Uganda, Nigeria and other countries. For example, management of Iranian drilling company expressed interest in drilling machines. With its low cost compared to foreign equivalents Russian drilling equipment is offering high quality and low maintenance costs. These parameters are basically attracting the attention of many foreign customers. Increased attention was also paid to enrichment, crushing and laboratory equipment from leading domestic developers and manufacturers of equipment, presented at the display.
Visitors and participants of the exhibition warmly and hospitably treated guests from Russia. One amusing fact: by the day of the exhibition end the Moscow was for the first time visited with an official target by the king of Saudi Arabia h.h. Salman bin Abdel Aziz al Saod for the previously planned meeting with the President of Russia Mr. Vladimir Putin. And every time citizens of Saudi Arabia were surprised by meeting our stand and got into conversation with curiosity, joyfully reporting to Russian tourists on the coincidence: we met you here, and our king is meeting Mr. Putin in Russia!
