The Russia-Uzbekistan First Interregional Cooperation Forum

17 to 20 October 2018, Tashkent (the Republic of Uzbekistan) hosted the Russia-Uzbekistan First Interregional Cooperation Forum at which the leaders of the countries were present – Vladimir Putin and Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev.

Under the Forum, Russian business mission was realized in Uzbekistan in order to strengthen cooperation between the countries, to define perspectives for further development and interplay in export area as well as to form a business contracts base.

Chief Commercial Officer Dmitry Zikiryaev and Head of Foreign Trade Department Margarita Tivanova were honored to present Mining Machines JSC at the Forum of such strategic significance. The company officers took part in two forum events – pitch session No. 1 Presentation of Russian Companies by Areas: Energy and Machine Building, the program of which consisted of participants’ presentations and an expert question and answer session, and a Contact Stock Exchange for representatives of business communities of Russia and Uzbekistan.

At the pitch session, Dmitry delivered the Mining Machines presentation and displayed the area of the company business activity, possibilities and advantages of cooperation. Meanwhile, Contact Stock Exchange event enabled to expand business acquaintances to further promote Russian mineral processing equipment, quarry equipment, drilling equipment and other types of equipment used for extraction and processing on the territory of Uzbekistan.
