BTS-150 (БТС-150) tractor drilling rig

Tractor drilling rig BTS-150 (BTS-150B and BTS-150BM) (БТС-150 (БТС-150Б и БТС-150БМ)) is designated for boring blast holes, namely vertical and inclined (up to 30°) ones with diameter of 150 mm for the depth of up to 32 m in solid rock and holes with diameter of 200 mm for the depth of up to 11 m in soft and frozen grounds.

As chassis tractor T-170 is used, where in four spots a floating welded frame of the rig with rails for transporting counter-weight is mounted; floating mounting of the bore frame to the rig provides for its incline which is implemented by two hydraulic cylinders.

Besides, the frame is provided with two railings and a crankshaft for moving and rotary head drive performed as a single-stage cylindric gear unit.

The gear set is mechanical with the drive from power takeoff shaft, double-stage, with reverse and fan drive shaft.

The rig hydraulic system consists of pump Nsh-32 (НШ-32), machine oil tank, hydraulic control panels and a pipeline system. The purification system is provided with pressured air from a self-contained compressor unit of NB-10 (НВ-10) type. When boring the rig is controlled from operator’s panel which is provided by a blocking feature to prevent tractor movement.
