SBU-100GA-50 (СБУ-100ГА-50) self-propelled drilling rig

Self-propelled drilling rig SBU-100GA-50 (СБУ-100ГА-50) is designated for boring of blast holes with the diameter of 110 and 130 mm, depth of up to 50 metres at open mining works and construction objects with the use of downhole hammers in rocks having hardness factor of f=6…20 on the Professor Protodyakonov’s scale.

Drilling rig SBU-100GA-50 (СБУ-100ГА-50) is a self-propelled crawler-tracked maneuvering installation with an individual electric drive for each track. Its motion is controlled from a portable control unit. On the rig frame there is an operating element which performs all the works relating to boring process, rotation of the tool string, generation of axial force upon the shaft, descent and lifting of the tool string from the hole. Horizontal alignment is carried out by three jacks. An effective dust suppression system excludes a possibility to contaminate the environment.

High drilling capacity and stability of the rig allows for its operation at rough hard-to-access work sites.

It is powered by electric power with the voltage of 380 V and pressured air with the pressure of 0,5...0,6 MPa. Pressured air is transferred to the rig either from a mobile compressor with the capacity of at least 10 cub.m./min, or from the open-pit grid.
