SMD-112A (СМД-112А) single-rotor hammer crusher

Single-rotor hammer crusher SMD-112A (СМД-112А) is designated to crush brittle and soft materials: coal, rock-salt, chalk, gypsum, crushed bricks, fire-resistive rocks, potassium aluminium sulphate, saltpetre, limestone, some ores and other low-abrasive materials with humidity at which choking-up of grizzly feeders does not take place.

With grizzly feeders taken-off the crusher may be used to crush materials with increased humidity.

Crushers of this type are distinguished by high breaking degree, performance, low power consumption, simplicity of construction.

Material is supplied to the crusher with an even layer through a feed inlet to the crushing chamber; being subjected to hits from quickly changing hammers of the rotating rotor the material is grined and is further discharged through grizzly feeders downward to the transporter or another receiving device to be installed under the crusher. In a standard configuration the crusher is arranged with three lines of hammers on the rotor; however, depending on specifications of the material to be crushed the rotor may have two lines or six lines.

In order to ensure maximal performance the material must be fed as continuous flow evenly distributed along the whole rotor length.

Breaking hammers are fabricated of manganese steel 110Г13Л. In order to reduce a possibility to stuck slots between bars grates are arranged at an angle of 45 degrees with respect to rotor radius towards material protraction.  Bars are fabricated of steel 110Г13Л as well. Depending on requirements towards fraction size at crusher outlet the slot size between bars may be reduced until 2.5 mm.
